ATI Catalyst 3.1

Has anyone got any opinions on the catalyst 3.1 drivers yet?I am getting my new radeon 9500 pro this week (i had to rma the old one) and i am trying to decide which drivers to go for.

no matter how hard you try, you can't polish a turd. :]

Downloaded them lastnight and don`t see any performance\quality gains. Maybe someone who has had problems with Mafia,WCraft3 ect can let us know if it helps.

BTW 9\10 tmes it`s better to download the latest drivers\bios for hardware...

cheers.i was just checking because there were quite a few people who had problems with catalyst 3.0 and reverted to 2.5.I'll get the 3.1 then, especially because i have got mafia.

THG reported the ATi performance updates, many were for older games, and for specific resolutions. But there seemed to be more crash fixes at least or graphical glitch fixes.
