Hi, I've just ordered a 9700 Pro, but I'm unsure about its power requirements. I don't have the greatest PSU on the planet, but I don't really want to replace it, not right now anyway. What is a comparable device. i.e. is it just like having another HDD plugged in. I'm keen to know, I have empty pockets after this purchase, a new PSU will be rather annoying.

As long as your PSU is a minimum of 300W U should B okay... the card runs off a floppy connector... it will all depend on what HW U already have in your system
check my spec in my profile, I was starting to get power warnings with my spec, that may help U as a guide...

Hmmm, wonder if I can get a valid page fault ???
these invalid ones are far too commonplace...

It's pretty much equivalent to having another CPU plugged in.

Anything over 300W will do as long as the supply is filtered well.
