I recently installed a new Geforce4 MX440 64MB DDR AGP card into my PC. While I can now play the games I couldn't with my ancient 4MB card, my system now freezes up fairly regularly requiring a full reboot. This sometimes happens after just a half hour or so. What can I check/adjust or do, to remedy this problem. Is there any settings I should tinker with like refresh rate (currently set at optimal). I'm running Windows 98 on an old PII 266Mhz with 160MB of ram, which according to the Geforce4 MX440 specs should be fine. HELP!

What powersupply are you using?
What are your temperatures?
What drivers are you using?

Its whatever power supply came with my PC, I think its around 250W. I don't know what temperatures you're talking about, but I'm not trying any type of intense 3D gaming, just using MS Word will cause it to freeze up after like 20 minutes. I currently have the driver that came with the board, which I believe is an Nvidia 29. something or other. I did try some of the newer drivers (like 41.09), but at the time I tried those, I was having IRQ conflicts with a PCI card I had installed, and I couldn't ever get a complete bootup with the newer drivers, only the original one, and with that almost as soon as I'd get booted up, it would freeze. I've since moved the PCI card, which has minimized the freezeup problem, but not gotten rid of it completly.
