i just was talking to another brainwashed mac user. (they are as bad as any brainwashed pc user)
why do these people think macs are superior? is it the colors? the 1 button mouse? the ati cards or low-end geforce mx? the fact THEY COST SO F'N MUCH?????? plus they always compare themselves with Intel, as if AMD doesn't even exist. i don't care if the processor can perform better at a lower clock speed, give me price/performance!
on their defense, they do take up less power and are quieter. but on a desktop pc, (unless you're in california right now) i'd rather have a massive power hungry machine!
in addition to negatives what positives things do you have to say about macs and their users?
i personally think it's fun now to bash intel along with him now. and he never says anything bad about amd. not that i don't like intel (i love my p3675) but lately they SUCK

although i don't like mac i do like their new titanium powernotebook. that thing is 1" thick and made of titanium. i wonder what the price for that is. i bought my dad a titanium golf driver and it set me back 500 bucks!!!!! and the powerbook has more titanium in it. maybe you can go golfing with that thing.

Growing up in the day I was quite the little mac user. I had me a little Mac Plus that was black and white and i LIKED IT. Nowadays, however, I am of course a PC user, but mainly just because I am a hardcore gamer. But still, I have to give mac its props. While you can't game on it as much, I really like some of its graphics programs, and I wouldn't mind testing out some of their newest power computers in the slightest.
The main reason you are probably a pc user is just because thats what the software you use comes out on. I like games, I use a PC, but if I got more into graphic rendering, I would more than likely invest in a Mac. So basically we are loyal to a program, not an OS or machine.
As a side note, I have to say my Mac OS back in the day acted just like my Windows now. It had the same interface and even a "start" button, waaaay back in the day.
I use macs at work. I don't really mind. I would get a mac if there was more software for them that was more accessible and more common. I also don't like the really high price due to no competition of vendors. Its all sold by Apple, no one else makes them. This means lack of competition and higher prices. And they are very uncustomizeable, what you buy is what you are stuck with for the most part.
There are reasons to usa a Mac. The best music production software runs on a Mac (Protools & Cubase). Protools does run on a PC but it's not supported as well.
Personally being into electronics, a PC is the only choice as things like Spice programs (Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis [think that's right]) are really the domain of the PC.
Artists buy Macs, Techs buy PC's. Though you can do art on a PC just not as easy.
Trippin´or no trippin´ , the guy that designed those MACs
is a Fag! No question about it!
I like the PC case better! Looks sturdy and solid ! And it acts like it!
Not the same with the Mac , with those translucent colors!
It should come with a sign saying : CAREFULL ! Do not touch case ! Fragile ! Risk of Falling apart!
