Hi all, New guy here. Just a quick question. I'm getting a new Motherboard (soyo KT400), and it supports 8x AGP. Could I use the 8x with my Nvidia TI4600 card? I'm not about to buy a TI4800 just for 8x...

Thanks,
Vonkjk

8x does nothing for performance so don't worry about it.

The last two PNY TI4600's i installed are were AGP 8x. It doesnt say it on the outside of the box, but the cd inside says "TI 4600 8x" and the nvidia det 42.01 drivers recognized the card as a "TI 4800". Note, this IS a 4600, not one of those 8x 4200's that companies have been boxing ass TI4800's. The clock speeds defaulted to the TI 4600 default speeds. I find this really interesting...pny didnt have to do this and they arent marketing it, but hehind the scenes they just implemented teh change... Got 4 more in boxes i havnt opened yet, i'm willing to bet they're all the new 8x product.

Windows is like a house of cards... One wrong move and it all comes crashing down.
