ASUS Mobo + Vid card?

I heard from somewhere that ASUS Mobos don't work well with ASUS Vid cards, at least with the GeForce4s and nForce2s.

any confirmations or denials? I'm looking to get a GeForce4 Ti4200 and an A7N8X delux.

Athlon XP 1600+, MSI K7T PRO2 RU (POS), 2x256 MB CRUCIAL PC2100 CL2.5 memory, Asus V6800 DDR Delux (GF 256) video card, 6.4GB+27GB WD HD, 40GB IBM HD (all 7200RPM). My computer is an acronym

Dont always believe what you hear...I have never had a problem matching these two....

I don't that's why I'm trying to get more info. The more user input I can get, the better educated my decision. Looking to eventually get, when the prices go down:
