I just picked up this card at CompUSA for $100 and it kicks ass! The RAM runs at 250Mhz out of the box (500Mhz DDR). Just unbelievable! With TV-out and DVI, this has to be the best card for about $100.
The 4200 series is hard to beat when on a budget. If you're budget is really tight you can't go wrong with the 8500. I wish more people bought these cards and avoided the GF4 Mx's and the 9000's.
The aim of military training is not just to prepare men for battle, but to make them long for it. <A HREF="http://forums.btvillarin.com/index.php?act=ST&f=41&t=327&s" target="_new"><b>MY SYSTEM</b></A>
Yeah, good times. My friend has an 8500 too, and it looks just as good as my Ti4200. All the benchmarks are really relative you know? I haven't really found a game that my card has trouble with at any setting. I mean, right now most graphics cards will look pretty much the same if you spend $70+. The difference is that down the road, when game graphics get better, some cards will keep up and some won't.
