Here's some benchmarks that I have run on several systems (both desktops and notebooks). I'm not doing any OC'ing on any of these and I didn't take an inventory of any of the drivers etc... so, there *might* be improvement if there were upgraded drivers but I haven't had time to check. Here we go ...
PowerPro C3:16 - Pentium M 1.5Ghz, 40Gb 5400rpm, ATI Radeon 9000(64mb), 512Mb Sdram, 15" SXGA+(1400 x 1050)
-- KDS would not run 3DMARK03 ... and did NOT try AquaMark but did run 3DMark2001SE --
KDS 4780i(i think) - PIII 800Mhz, 20gb hdd(4200rpm), on board video, 768mb ram, 14"(1024x768)
For comparison to desktop systems, I've included the following as well:
Desktop(custom) - P4 2.8Ghz 800FSB, 2x160Gb RAID1 Satas, Radeon 9800 Pro(128mb), 1Gb DDR PC3500(2x512) (NO OC'ing)
3dMark2003 - Ran @ Default Settings (1024x768x32 etc)
- SAGER 5680 - 2,875 (Ran all 4 game tests, no sound)
- PPC 3:16... - 1,087 (Ran 1st 3 game tests, no sound)
- Desktop.... - 5,502 (Ran all 4 game test + sound)
3dMark2001SE - Ran @ Default Settings (Only KDS machine)
- KDS Notebook - 137 Marks
Um... sorry, I don't know anything about Asus notebooks. You might check here for info on asus
