I was messing around with rage3D and accindentally deleted the drivers for my monitor, so now i cant fix the 60hz bug in XP. Any way to reinstall drivers without reinstalling windows, system restore, etc. I have a 9500 Pro 128 with catalyst 3.2's and a VGA monitor that is being detected as a "plug and play". The monitor is a new, nice 17 inch. I've tried reinstalling video drivers and using different monitors then switching back to this one too.
Have you tried going to the manufacturer's website and downloading the monitor drivers so you can manually install them?
I'd have left you a link to the drivers if you had mentioned the brand and model number of the monitor.
You might also wish to make a Registry change so that all hidden and ghosted devices are visible in the Device Manager under the View menu, just in case more than one are listed, since you hooked up several different monitors to the system. Your new monitor might even still be listed. Look under System Registry Edits -- Show/Conceal Hidden Devices in Device Manager on this page. Delete any monitors that are not actually connected to the computer, and won't be used in the future.

I deleted all the old profiles in rage3d, or radeonator. i already check the manufacter's website and they dont have drivers for my monitor, or a similar one.
Would you mind telling me what the make and model number of the monitor is, anyway ... even if it turns out to be a futile search on my part? I can sometimes find items that other people have difficulty locating. If I can't track down any workable drivers, then you won't be any worse off than you are now.
If you list enough specifications on the monitor, I might even be able to find a different monitor driver that will work as well as the original. Many monitors have similar components; tubes, maximum refresh rates, color profiles, etc. It can be like installing a Lucent driver for a U.S. Robotics modem and still getting good results, if you know what I mean.
