I have 1.6GHz IBM machine with a Nvidia GEFORCE2 MX-VGA 32 mb graphics card. I am going to install a Sony SDM-X82/b 18" LCD monitor with both DVI and Analog inputs. I am looking for opinions on which graphic board would give me the best results with this monitor. Not doing any gaming. Main use is photos, graphics and text

Ati have been known for their visual quality, the 9100 radeon has dvi and standard connections and is VERY cheap. Or for a real good 2D board, the matrox G550 costs around the same price and has the connections you require. If money doesnt mean anything to you then get the Matrox Parhelia 128MB TripleHead, this is one of the best 2D apps cards you can buy and has triple rgb, dual dvi and tv output lol :)
