DX9 problem with games

Does anybody have games that doesn't work after installing DX9? I've found one so far. Cricket 2002 of Electronic Arts doesn't work after installing DX9.

I've tried DX buster to uninstall DX9. It doesn't install it completely. I've found no other programs that can uninstall DX9 completely in Win2000. Can anybody suggest a program for unistalling DX9 in Win2000?

The only thing is, that it is guaranteed for up to DX8.1.
Even DX Buster does not guarantee DX 9 yet, they only state "MAY" work. I guess you may need to look hard, or are out of luck for the moment as they have not gotten one out for DX9. OR you can try this one.

Funny thing is, after removing DX9 with DX Buster and installing DX8.1, I can run 3DMark 2003! And the problems with DX9 doesn't go away. But I can have manage Dxdiag show my desired DX version only
