Radeon 9500 on Epox 8RDA+

I got a Radeon 9500 which just doesn't wanna work in my Epox 8RDA+ board. (Athlon XP 2100+, 2x 256MB PC2700 Samsung DDR)
PC freeze before POST starts.
I tested the Radeon in a Asus CUA266 board, and it worked just fine. And I also tested a Rage Fury Pro in the Epox 8RDA+ board... it worked.
So they both work.... but just not together! (Both operates at 8x AGP)
The BIOS/AGP voltage is set to 1.5v, according to ATI, Radeon 9500/9700 can operate with 1.5v. So that rules out one possibillity. I tried a diff power supply, diff ddr modules, but still no luck. I also tried disabling 8X-AGP on the motherboard...

Any suggestions...?

Your gonna hate me but make sure the card is properly seated in the AGP slot.

Does the cards fan even spin up??

What do the post beeps indicate??

Yup... card is seated prop.. And there's no post beeps, since the machine does not get that far...bombs out after half a second. I'm suspecting that somethings wrong with the m.board... although the board did work with another card in it. Weird.
