9500 or Gainward Ti4800SE with vivo

Alright. I can get either of these on newegg for about $200. Simple question: Which one to get? The Ti4800 is impressive, but no DX9 support. It does have 3.3ns memory, but I can't tell how much that will affect performance. The 9500 looks to be the better choice to me, but the VIVO on the Ti4800SE is appealing. Thanks to all who respond!

9500 or 9500Pro?
There is a big difference between the 2. whatever the case, I would recommend the 9500Pro. If the card you are looking at is a 9500(non-pro), spend the extra few dollars and get a pro. At low resoultions the ti beats the 9500, but when you turn on AA and Af, the 9500 really starts to show some serious muscle. It also wastes Nvidia's newest offering to the main stream, the FX 5600 Ultra.
Conclusion: go with the 9500 Pro.

Now if only my decision was that simple. I'm in a toss-up of whether or not to get a 9500Pro now, or wait for 9600 Pro, and see how it does.

Thanko youo foro theo advico. I do mean the Pro version, and that's what I was thinking based upon the thg benchmarks. Don't even mention the FX, as this is one of the worst offerings I've ever seen from Nvidia.

The only thing that is weird about the 9600 is that the pipelines have been reduced in favor of a higher clock speed. I've always been a firm believer that while clock speeds help, it's better to have more pipelines, so we'll have to see how that turns out. Theoretically they should perform equally, but Ati always has some pretty fancy smancy tricks up their collective sleeves. If they perform equally, I think I'll save the dough and go with the 9500 pro, get one of those massive VGA heatsinks, attach a fan, and overclock to the max.
