I influence out a Giovanni that another player also controls. Is there
time to play Proxy Kissed on my Giovanni before contesting starts?

uncontrolled region to your ready region during your influence phase.
This Giovanni gains one level of Potence [pot] and one level of
Fortitude [for]. His or her capacity is increased by 1. Move 1 blood
from the blood bank to this Giovanni.

No it didn't happen, but I like to be prepared.

Its a small playgroup and the rest of them aren't crazy enough to play
Giovanni, at least most of the time.
