Hello, A little help please
I want to run papyrus Nascar 2003.
My system will load the game fine. But can't run due to my
video card.
My system: Micron Millennia
processor: Intel 450MHz(100 MHz Core) ECC pentium II
Motherboard: Seattle 2 440 BX ATX
Video Card: Diamond Viper 550 TNT 16MB
Every thing I want my system to do it does fine.
I don't play any other games.I have run Nascar Racing3
for years. Would like to run this new Nascar 2003.
My question is what would be a good upgrade on a video card
to solve my problem.
Thanks for any info on this problem.

Oh man.
You need a whole new system!
But if youre just going to get a video card, get a GeForce 4 MX440 (64mb). You can find these for $30 new online, look around.
This will let you play the game, but dont expect to run at high resolutions or high detail settings.

Long live ATI.

Get a GF2 GTS, I would always worry about the GF4 MX having large(ish) power requirements, the GF2 wouldnt have this problem. And they would perform about the same on such a limited system - no point in going overkill.

What's the minimum system requirements for that game? Your CPU might not be up to the task either. IF it's close, make sure you kill all running applications (you can use MSconfig for this) before running the game. I would also look at getting a GF4 MX.

The aim of military training is not just to prepare men for battle, but to make them long for it. <A HREF="http://forums.btvillarin.com/index.php?act=ST&f=41&t=327&s" target="_new"><b>MY SYSTEM</b></A>

yeah check the game requirements, your whole system may need an upgrade unfortunately =(
the good thing is that such an upgrade will be cheap because you'll be able to get all old parts and have it run respectably (P3, pc133, gf2 or gf4mx)
