I am about to recieve a PC from Dell that is equipped with a graphics card they call Radeon 9700TX.
I cannot find any reference to this card any place but at Dell's homepages, not even at ATI(!)
Dell says is is clocked (core) @260MHz, which is significantly lower than the 9700 (@275MHz) and 9700Pro (@325MHz). Data throughput is stated to be 16.8 GB/s.
Does anyone have any idea what card this really is?
Is it possible that they 'under-clock' the card to avoid problems with power and/or heat??
I notice that the pc is delivered with a PSU of only 250W which seems on the low side. It is otherwise equipeed with a P4 2.6, 512Mb DDR333, CD-burner, DVD etc. Mobo is based on i845PE.

I'm guessing, but it's probably got slow memory. It's cheap for dell and most people don't know the difference. They see 9700 and are thrilled.
