I have a Powered by ATi Radeon 9000 which has several problems:

1. Drivers on the Powered by ATi site dont work. (when I run the exe, I get a Illegal operation and crash half way through installation)

2. I think the card is physically damaged (the jerk at the store who installed my new PSU bounced the old PSU on my card, resulting in some slight damage to the Green PCB, bent the card slightly down and possibly damaged the memory chip(s) which it contacted with)

3. It gives crappy performance in CS (OpenGL @ 1024x768, where my replaced card GF2MX400 did not) Sometimes the screen pauses for less then a second, as if the card cant handle the graphics.

Geez....sorry to hear about your bad news.....for the driver problem, go to rage3d.com. They have instructions on how to use official ATI drivers with a powered by ATI board...it's a good site. I dont know about the damage you described on your card, it sounds bad, but might not be, their pretty tough. I have a friend that pulled a memory chip off his card by forcing off a ramsink with a screwdriver, the card still works great, it just has -16 megabytes...
