So, Frederick the Weak and Tariq are having their weekly grudge match.
Due to a Malkavian Time Auction, Frederick has a Ghoul Retainer and an
Ivory Bow. Tariq has a Flame Thrower.

Tariq manuevers to long with a Fake Out. Frederick waves. Tariq
declares he's toasting the retainer. Frederick looks relieved, but
doesn't forget to tell the retainer to shoot Tariq full of ivory arrows
and to not let the door hit his ass on the way out.

The Ghoul Retainer becomes a crispy critter. Does Tariq have to worry
about the 1 agg damage?

I'm 99% sure the answer is yes, but since it came up, thought I'd verify...

Yes, because unless Tariq used First Strike, the Damage Resolution is
all done at normal resolution (simultaneously) so the Ivory Bow's Arrow
shoots through the ball of flame and hits Tariq as the flame manages to
toast the Ghoul Retainer.

note that the ivory bow's arrow is unlikely to have any fletching
remaining when it hits, however.
