Left and righ click not working on acer aspire one

right and left click bar below the touchpad is not working on Acer aspire one but if I plug a mouse in the USB it all works ok. I have looked in control panel at the mouse settings and it said all was ok. any idea how I fix the

Probably need to replace the palmrest. You can try to reseat the cable attaching it to the motherboard first though.
