Hi! I'm looking to spend no more than $1520 on a Sager computer and I've been looking at the NP8130 and the NP8150. I'm ordering it on xoticpc.com, if you know better prices than this let me know too!

My choices are:

NP8130 for $1428
-i7-2760QM, 2.4-3.5GHz
-nVidia GeForce GTX 560M 1,536MB PCI-Express GDDR5 DX11
-12GB DDR3 1333MHz Dual Channel Memory (3x4GB SODIMMS)
-750GB (w/ 8GB SSD Memory) Seagate XT 7200RPM NCQ Hybrid (Serial-ATA III 600 - 32MB Cache)
-Intel® Ultimate-N 6300 - 802.11A/B/G/N Wireless LAN Module

NP8150 for $1516.11 (or $1467 w/ 500GB HDD)
- i7-2670QM, 2.2-3.1GHz
-ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6990M 2048MB PCI-Express GDDR5 DX11
-12GB DDR3 1333MHz Dual Channel Memory (3x4GB SODIMMS)
-750GB 7200RPM (Serial-ATA II 300 - 16MB Cache)
-Built-in WiFi module

I AM getting the 3-year warranty on both of these... I have little knowledge of computers or repairs. (That's why the price is a bit higher than you'd expect).

THE QUESTION AT HAND: What will provide me with more gaming performance? A .2ghz faster processor and the hybrid Seagate HDD, or the 6990M 2048MB videocard (instead of a GTX 560M) with a lower processor and normal hard drive??? Is the GPU worth all the extra money while forsaking the processor and HDD?

I really wish there was an easier way to figure this out. Please help!!!!!

Solution
6990M is a very nice upgrade over the GTX 560M.
The difference in CPU is very small compared to the better GPU - the i7-2670QM/HD 6990M combo will 'game' better and (IMO) are worth giving up the better CPU & HDD.
