Difference is Ti4800 supports 8xAGP and Ti4600 Supports up to 4xAGP. Other than that...no diff..

The Radeon cards are better nowadays. Make sure you consider a R9500 Pro, R9700, R9700 Pro, or some of the newer cards coming out if you're looking into a 4600/4800.

You know, I thought that 8X support was the only difference but, I see Ti4600's with 8X support. Hmm, go figure. Thanks for the advice about ATI cards. Unfortunately, I have had bad luck with ATI's software and support. So, I'm not a big fan yet. I do understand they are hot right now though. Its going to take a little more before I switch to ATI. Maybe the 9800 Pro will do that. I did here that there some issues with the 9800's drivers conflicting with the SB Audigy drivers. (go figure) I will not buy the FX card. I spent $300.00 on a Koolance system to keep my computer quiet and cool and Im not going to put something in it thats sounds like a vacuum cleaner. This is for a friend anyhow. Thanks for the input and advice. It is always appreciated and accepted. Take care all.

Do what?!?! It depends on WHICH Ti4600 you get. Here's a Ti4600 8X:

Ti4800--> Ti4600 + AGP 8X
Ti4800SE--> Ti4400 + AGP 8X

Someday Microsoft will use safedisc copy protection on Windows, and we have to insert the Windows CD evertime we boot pc.
