I have a Leadtek GF3 Winfast card and noticed that in WinXP Pro hardware management it's listed as "Location 6 (PCI bus 1, device 0, function 0)". Is this normal because I can't seem to make it list as AGP. I have updated the Graphics drivers as well as checked settings and updated the Asus A7A266 MB. Please any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Mmm was really hoping someone on this forum would have a idea what the problem is. Guess if no one here knows I am out of luck!

what does sisoft sandra or 3dmark programs say it is ???

Hmmm, wonder if I can get a valid page fault ???
these invalid ones are far too commonplace...

is your card capable of dual displays? ive learned recently that the second display on a video card is recognised as a pci device.

my computer is so fast, it completes an endless loop in less than 4 seconds!

I have loaded up SiSoft (freeware Version) and it see's the card but does not specify PCI/AGP in the title discription. Also in the pull down options were you can choose to see either AGP or PCI specs it appears to be running in either mode?
As to the Duel mode not sure about that but I don't think so. I have seen no duel display option in my Video settings...but on the safeside I will take another look.

I just d/l and ran 3DMark03, I was curious as to what the program seen as far as my video card. To my surprise it saw the card but listed it as "0" for amount of AGP memory??
I realize the card runs DDR memory but it is in a AGP format correct?

Look, your computer is just calling it a pci slot. Your video card is a "peripheral card that interconnects"...hence your computer recognizing it as such...pci...you arent having any problems. Your AGP driver is telling the window's OS that that's what that particular peripheral card is...AGP, and allocating direct memory access to it....unless you got something screwy going on like no chipset drivers. You do have chipset drivers installed dont you?

Ok I get that the AGP running in a PCI bus according to the computer hardware is normal. However running in PCI mode is not! If something says your AGP card is Rendering as a PCI card instead there are problems. Also SideBand and quite a few other AGP specific capibilities are not enabled, even though they are supoorted by my card. Now after a little research I found some interesting info that might help me and anyone else that has these problems!

I did try what was suggested here for WinXP, but I can't seem to find the correct registry setup to add this line to. If anyone figures this out please let me know. For me there is no ControlSet001 only ControlSet002 so this could be a problem.
Thanks in advance :)

have you installed the CHIPSET DRIVERS?!?! Without them any AGP card will run as a PCI card.
