I have a Toshiba Satellite I305 that will not come on. When I press the power button the Power light flickers and then everything goes dead. When I unplug the AC adapter the adapter light comes back on and I get a yellow battery light but after 3-4 seconds they both shut off.
Any Ideas. I am trying to save all the info that I had on the Hard drive which is NTFS...Ugh..

Try this:

Pull out the battery, and just plug the laptop directly to AC. If still a no go - you might have to get your laptop repaired via Toshiba if it's still under warrenty.

Sounds like the power input on your laptop is dead/burnt out (where your AC plugs into).

Your AC adapter could also be malfunctioning, does your AC adapter have a led light on it so that you know it's getting power?

If you need your information you will have to pull out the hard drive from your laptop and slave it on another computer and copy all the files you need.
