Hello all,

1. What is your budget?
Max 700. If there is a significant advantage to be found though, I can go up to 800-850.

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
15.4" and more

3. What screen resolution do you want?
Don't really care

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Desktop replacement. I need it for some light gaming(see below) and for skyping/msn/internet etc

5. How much battery life do you need?
Don't care

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Starcraft 2(heavily dependent on CPU power): Medium
Some other light gaming on low or mid settings(from august and on I will be back on my 2500k/gtx 570 desktop)

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Skyping, so I need a somewhat decent camera and mic. Don't care about very high resolutions though, my gf's connection cant handle that

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
Irrelevant, I have 2 external HDD's with 2 TB capacity

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
I live in Germany currently(but I'm an english speaker). So, I don't know any shops apart from amazon.de or saturn/media markt

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
Don't really care. After August I will just need it for some surfing

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
DVDR. If blu-ray can be included for a small price difference(~20-30 euros) I will consider that

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
I have no problem with any brand, but I always liked ASUS(because they make very good desktop mobotherboards). If they make crappy laptops, please disregard that.

13. What country do you live in?
Germany

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
Summary: Pc for light gaming, skyping/msn/surfing. Perhaps some EDA tools(100% CPU dependent)
