I ran 3DMark2001 on my new Radeon 9500 pro. While my motherboard supports 4x agp in the online result browser of 3DMark I saw:

AGP Rates (Current/Available):
2x / 1x 2x 4x

What's wrong? How do I switch it to 4x if it is available?

I have VIA motherboard with Apollo Pro133A chip set that has 4x capabilities. In the bios I switched the enable 4x agp to "Enable". But I can't find anything else related, is there?
Can I choose there somewhere the actual CURRENT agp transfer speed?

In 3DMark2001 system spec it says:
"Rate: 1x, 2x, 4x (2x enabled)"

So 4x is surely possible but how to actually change it??

Tell us about the detail of your system, include the 3Dmark you get, then we could see if the mark fit or not
THEN make some correction if necessary

It is VIA VH6.

Anyhow, I fixed it I think.. I used PowerStrip to change the current bus settings. It seemed to work.
