Screen something does not work correctly

The screen in my laptop sometimes does not work correctly. the screen suddenly turns white and / or vertical lines. The problem disappears on the screen by repeatedly pressing the screen in the upper left.

My laptop is Dell inspiron 1420.

Please recommend how to solve the issue.

did you drop the laptop,look something loose under the panel
