hi there I,v just spent 3 days updrading my brothers comp, well tartin it up a bit, new drive/rw modem etc....now every time he loads a game up .....screen goes black..everytime nomatter what game....what simple ting do I not know ! anyone......done all the usual things......mmh.....also when we load up pinnacle video card the software only recognizes NTFS err sorry US teli system not PAL as we use over here, I suppose that is the more important Q....any replies appreciated. S.

Not knowing your system specs..or card and what usual things you have done, i will just give the generic ans.

a Black screen usually means u have to update your video drivers.
