Asus TI4200-8X 128MB TD Problems

I'm having problems w/ the Asus video card (Ti-4200 8X). When the desktop of windows is supposed to appear the screen gets black and I can see nothing... The only way to make it work is to use no driver (to use the win XP default vga driver) and I can't play any 3D games. I've tried 3 differents monitors and up to 10 drivers for the VGA card and for the MOBO w/ no success!

Reformat and reinstall windows...I would.

and yes, i would just take 20 mins and reinstall also.. btw did you just install new drivers, or did you uninstall the old ones first and THEN install the new ones?

Yes, I unnistaled all the drivers b4 instaling new ones...
I'll try to instal windows XP again.

Nothing... I've tried to re-install win XP and win98 SE. It doesn't work.
What to try now?
