I feel that that tomshardware should do a test on Ati 9500 9600 both pro and non pro version and Nivida 5200 5600 both ultra and non ultra version and the 5600 256 mb card also.

What's ur point of posting this?
I mean.. one can expect that no Pro version is worse than Pro, no Ultra version should be worse than Ultra version..
simple, no?

9500 pro > 9600(any)
5600 Ultra (new revision) > 9600

I think it goes something like that.

As for "Texture units per pixel pipeline" and "Textures per clock", the 9500pro(only) is 1 to 8, and the 9600 is 1 to 4, that's why the older card is faster.

5600 is also 1to4, but has a higher clockspeed than the 9600. Otherwise, they're basically the same cards. And if you OC the 9600 I'm sure it can beat out the 5600 Ultra(as it's probably at it's max).

5600 Ultra stock would probably put a hurt on the 9500pro stock, but if you clock the 9500pro even a bit, it will slap the 5600Ultra around, as the gains considering it's 8 textures per clock would be much higher than OCing a 1 to 4 card like the 5600Ultra.
