Cookies??????

I recently downloaded Service Pack 3 and an IE6 upgrade for my w2k machine. I previously ran IE5, and never had problems logging into Hotmail or .NET Passport. Now that I upgraded, I get an error while trying to log into Hotmail, Aol, and other user authenticating sites. The Hotmail error says that my browser has cookies disabled, but I checked the Privacy and Security settings under Internet Options and set them to the lowest possible. I even went to overide defaults, and to "accept all cookies". still getting the same error....

I was hoping maybe someone had heard of a similiar problem. thanks in advanced.

Maybe you need to delete all your cookies, you will lose all your saved password though. But it has fixed related problems.

try these settings in IE
Tools > Internet Options
Privacy
Click on the advanced button
Change both cookie types to Accept and check the box that says Always allow session cookies. That shouls allow your computer to accept all types of cookies
