What type of paint should I use on drive faces so that they match cases, etc?

I just want this system to look as cool as it runs :) and this one companyh offered SUPER low shipping rates on cases, so it was cheaper for me to buy a more expenseive case from there (And nicer looking) than a crappier one with higher shipping elsewhere..

thanks for your input

Pretty much anything is going to eat into the plastic, except maybe model paint that you get in the little tins, although after a while it would peel and look really bad

Tried it on an older packard hell system i usedto have...painted the whole thing gloss black, actually looked kinda cool. Just used regular black hi-gloss spray paint, didn't have any prob eatin the plastic. Did take the time to paint the inside of the tray though- it looked pretty queer all nice and black on the outside and then you open it up and it's all white inside!

<Bump> so one person tells me I can't use anything that will work well, the other says I should spray my system down with a con o paint... all I need to do is paint the 2x4 faceplate on the dvd player, any other suggestions?

PS I find spray paint stick someitmes after it dries... you didnt notice that on yours?

well, i had to let it dry a good 2 days b4 i messed w/ it- i painted it down in my basement since it was raining that day- but after it dried it didnt seem to have any problems being sticky- just dont spray too much too fast- lots of little coats will do well
BTW, do yourself a favor and take the faceplate OFF the drive b4 you do it! :)
