Name of tournament: QC Championship Qualifier: Québec 2005
Location: Québec, Canada
Date: September 1st, 2005

The 2005 edition of the Québec Championship is approaching and the first
qualifier tournament was held in Québec on September 1st. 20 people showed
up to try and earn a spot in the final tournament that will take place in
Gatineau this year, home of the champion of both the QC and NA championships
in 2004, Christian Chénard!
I've seen less combat than usual in Québec and things were a lot more
bleedy. It seems people took the qualifier more seriously this year. In the
end, François Nadeau-Labrecque won the tournament with a deck centered
around Lazverinus. In the process, he not only qualified for the QC but also
won his first constructed tournament!

helped me get 1 GW, 3 VP in the first round but never showed up again during
the tournament. The Eye of Hazimel saved me in the second round from a
weenie Obfuscate predator that nearly ousted me!
