Coupla questions about Prying Eyes:

1. The eyes get a +16 Hide check, but no bonus to their Move Silently
check is mentioned in the spell description. Assuming that fliers still
have to make MS checks in order to not be heard, what's a DM to rule?
Do the eyes make little noises like George Jetson's car when they fly
around? Are they silent? Should I just give them a +16 bonus to MS as
well? I ruled the last option tonight, wondering if it was a good call.

2. Can a caster Teleport to a location that one of the eyes has seen?
If the eye studies the location, does it count as "studied"? I ruled
"yes" tonight, and again I'm wondering if it was a good call.

Thanks!

I have to say I'd agree with your option; either that, or make them
totally silent. I mean, they're as small as flies but have no buzzing
wings to make noise. Either way is probably workable.

So long as it has studied the location for at least an hour and is not
destroyed before it can report back and replay its images into the
caster's mind, yes. (If it's a real dangerous location, you may want to
send two or more eyes there as a backup in case one gets destroyed.)

I assume the +16 is from thier fine size. Size doesn't don't give you
a Move Silently bonus. Since the surface you are on can give
penalties, I'd just say give them a circumstance bonus for not being on
a surface. Since very noisy surfaces only give a -5 circumstance
penalty I'd say that's about they best they could get (+5) I suppose
looking at it another way they could get a +10 since there is no
surface. Of course if they have to go through something like a small
space such as a big keyhole, or some bushes or a bead curtain then they
might actually get negatives.

Unless the spell lasts long enough to stay awhile, teleport
specifically says for "studdied carefully" he's spent an hour studdying
it. For seen casually I'd say 20 rounds for taking a 20 on spot,
otherwise you are down to viewed once.
