doom on ati 9100??

did anyone run doom III on a radeon 9100 ??? tell me this before i download this file.... is it acceptable ?? or is like torture ..3-4 fps????

If you have a decent cpu, and decent memory, expect 12fps.
If you start really tweaking your system to play it, you can make it acceptable.

my cpu is celeron 1.7 with 512 mb ddr so u say i will get 12fps... that really sucks.... did u try the game on ur computer???

not out yet ???? man everywhere is full of copies of the game ... alpha stuff ...


anyway .. 40mb more to go ... lol..

that wont run anytying like the real completed game will

driver tweaking etc by ATI and NVdidia will make it run better, along with more complete and effiecient code in teh game itself

I tried the alpha demo on my 9100 and it's "usable".

800*600 it hovers around 15 fps, you can move around and shoot the walls and look at creatures without a problem. But it stutters like crazy when you actually shoot a monster.

Still, I expect with tweakable detail settings (the demo has none) and optimized drivers when the day comes, it should get a solid 25 FPS.
