Switching From nVidia to ATI

I'm thinking of swapping out my old GeForce2 for a new Radeon card. Will this cause any driver conflicts or anything? Has anyone had any problems when switching from a nVidia card to an ATI card? Keep in mind that I'm kind of a newbie, hence the question.

Most graphics card installation programs recommend that you remove old drivers first before installing a new card / drivers but in reality you don't need to bother in my experience. Just go to your device manager and remove the card then power down machine, take out old card, bung in new one and hey presto.
