Lg gh22np20 cannot start

[Short Circuit]

Hello,
I have a lg, gh22np20 rewriter which in device manager states This device cannot start (code10) I think it's from after I installed windows 7 from XP or my 1 terabyte WD external hard drive, the door will power open and close but no device shows on the computer,
