Will the graphics in Warcraft 3 look any different(better) with a DirectX 8/8.1 card? like ones the support the pixel/vertex shaders such as Radeon 8500 or Gefeorce 3/4? IMO the graphics kinda looks blocky...great game but it looks too blocky. i have a Gf2 gts V playing @ 1024x768 max settings.

Nope, not really. The colors will probably be more vibrant but other than that WC3 is not a game that is known for bringing systems to their knees (unless your talking about bugs)

i agree, you'll probably get better image quality if u upgrade to gf3 ,4 or Radeon 8500. on my xp1.6+ ,256mb DDR266, radeon 8500 64mb retail, i gets about 60+ fps @ 1024x768x32 max seeting.
