I'm using P4G8X and i just flashed my bios to version 1005.
After flashing i downloaded and installed the 3dmark03 pacth 330. After that i ran the 3D Mark03 benchmark a few times. I got shocked when i saw my score it went down around 120 marks.
Before the bios flash and the pacth update, i use to get around 4500, but now i only get around 4380.

I'm not sure about the bios. After flashing, i only did two changes:
1. I loaded setup defaults
2. I set my CPU speed from manual to the actual speed(which mean that i'm not overclocking)

But after a few times running 3dmark 03, i thought it was the "Primary Vga bios" setting in the bios.
This value was set to "PCI Vga card".

Actually this setting have 2 option:
1. PCI Vga card
2. AGP Vga card
The default setting is "PCI Vga card".
But i thought this was the mistake and i changed it to "AGP Vga card".
But i still get the same score in 3dmark03.

Please tell me the correct setting for the "Primary Vga bios" in the bios setting.
Actually, i also forget the previous setting...
I'm afraid i did a mistake.
Anyway, i'm using a radeon 9700(non pro)...

How did the score change ????

If you love something set it free, if it doesn't come back, hunt it down and kill it !!!

well...I guess no big deal , only 100points..
anyway, in Bios, it should be set to "AGP VGA Card" if you are using a AGP card to gain more performance
