im going to buy a new video card mainly for games and with the money i have its radeon 8500le 64mb or the geforce fx 5200 tdh 128mb , can anyone help me plz?

For just a little bit more you can get a Geforce 4200Ti.

I find it hard to recommend either of the two cards you have proposed to be honest. If anything the 8500 as it's probably cheaper.

the 8500le is probably just as fast as the 5200ultra


if your talking about the regular 5200, you can consider that card a rip-off. its worthless, and costs more than most budget cards

Crucial is selling the 8500LE for $89.. They did a great job with the 9700pro, Im sure their 8500 is most uber =)

I believe PNY ti4200s are selling for around $100. If you spend the extra $10-20, you'll prolly get better overall performance with the ti4200.

If you want decent DX9 performance, stay away from the 5200 and save some more for a 9500/9500pro
