when i was using a 9500 pro i was getting around 12000 in 3dmark2001. Now with my 9700NP i'm getting around 15000. Under 3dmark2003 i got 5000.

My settings for 2001 were:
1024x768, 32bit color, no antialiasing, double frame buffer, compressed texture format, 24bit zbuffer depth, with D3D Pure hardware T&L

Under 2003 I used the defaults: 1024x768, no anti-aliasing, optimal texture filtering, max anisotropy at 4.

I'm just wondering if these are decient scores for a 9700 how much better is a 9700pro? Right now, everything is stock speeds

The reason nobody is responding to your post is because...

a. You committed the cardinal sin of PC forum inquiries. How are we supposed to know if your scores are good or not? We don't know your CPU, RAM, etc. Come on buddy.

2. It almost(and this might just be me)looks as if you are bragging just a little. 15,000 is a VERY solid score. I don't care what card you have. And 12,000 with a 9500 sounds pretty good too.

But again, nobody is gonna help you unless you shell out your PC specs.

Oh yea, next time you create a thread you might wanna make sure you have the topic spelled correctly.

Actually the reason nobody is responding is because you have a typo in the title of the thread.

awww...i sin'd...come and get me! BTW...3dmark is MOSTLY a 3D graphics test. My system specs are fairly irrelivant, as with this card i should be getting those scores with any modern computer i throw it into...or am i completely off? Anyway if you think that was bragging...my system specs would definitly be bragging...lol

Asus A7N8X2.0 DX version 2.0 bios 1.05c beta
Onboard SoundStorm sound
Barton 2500+ (200mhz at 11x) for an easy 2.2ghz: (but not for this 3dmark test, was running at 166x11 for ~1.8ghz)
Air cooled by Speeze :).
corsair 512twinx 3200llpt (256x256)
2x WD SE 160 gig 7200rpm, 8meg cache HD's:
Raid 0 array with 128k strip size, 64kb cluster size (windows 2000pro sp3). Its nice having a 300GIG C:\
48x24x48x16x cdrw/dvdrom drive from LG electronics
ATI 9700np video card. (got for $182usd bucks :)
EnerMax 460w with silent fan tech
And may I add, one hell of a cool case with 5 silent fans, black light and round cables for everything that are black light sensitive.

Oh, and yes, i know it says ed, instead of 3d...must be hard being perfect, but on my keyboard, the e and the 3 are pretty damn close to each other :).

Still original question: i was wondering if anyone with the default settings that i had, what their scores where with a 9700PRO?
