which chipset for 9700 pro

Been looking for a new Mobo for a while - can you guys tell me which chipsets you have had success with on the 9700 pro
I have been looking mostly at the via KT400 and the nforce 2 on mid priced boards - but i was hoping to hear from people who had had success with these and a 9700 pro before taking the leap.

From my understanding just stay away from SiS 648 chipset.

I've also heard of people having incompatibilities with cards based on the R300 (Radeon 9500, 9700) and Nforce2 boards.

Thx thats a shame - it seems the nforce board is worth the extra cash over the KT400 - but last thing I want is to go back to struggling to get the GPU working.
Anyone had success with nforce boards?

I run a NForce2 and a 9700Pro and have had no promblems.

i was looking at a Radeon 9700 non pro but i guess i should do some more research.

There's no problem with R9700 + nForce2. Many people are using this combo without problems

Are you crazy? The way I see it you only have one choice .. nforce2 !!! I've been using Asus A7N8X Deluxe (nForce2 chipset) & Radeon 9500 Pro for the past two months with no problems. If anyone says to you that nvidia's chipsets are not compatible with ati's video cards, then they simply have no idea and make up this stuff!
