I have a Visiontek gf4 Ti4600 and the fan just recently died. Should i replace the fan and heatsink with a new one or should I rig something up using a 60mm or 80mm fan blowing over the existing heatsink? Also, if i do replace the fan and heatsink, how do i get it off the GPU, it's "glued" on with some sort of adhesive.

Glued on heatsinks are a little tougher. What some users do is place the card in a ziploc bag and freeze it (to harden the glue). Now place a credit card on the surface of the board (to protect the board) and pry off the heatsink with a flat bladed screwdriver.

The aim of military training is not just to prepare men for battle, but to make them long for it. <A HREF="http://forums.btvillarin.com/index.php?act=ST&f=41&t=327&s" target="_new"><b>MY SYSTEM</b></A>
