Dell Inspiron 8600. How can I get the volume button to show up on the
screen?

On my I8500 the OSD for volume and screen brightness are accomplished by
loading the Dell Quickset program @ C:\Program
Files\Dell\QuickSet\quickset.exe .

The I8600 may be different but worth a look I reckon.
