GeForce4 Ti4800 vs Radeon 9600 PRO

Heya im kind of new in this forum and on this page.. I must say its a great page.. Much neet information..

Im on my way of boulding myself a computer.. And im kind of stuck regarding the grafcard issue.. Im a studet so that leaves out the top spots of the cards as Radeon 9700 PRO, Radeon 9800 PRO, FX 5800 and FX 5900.

My question to you are as followed:

1.GeForce4 Ti4800 vs Radeon 9600 PRO, with grafcard is the better. I compared myself the Benchmarks of these to gards finding out that the GeForce4 Ti4800 is a better card in most cases.. Is this right? or is the Radeon 9600 PRO and the Radeon 9500 PRO better?

2. Why does it not say anything in this page about the GeForce4 Ti4800 card. to old? I live in Sweden and I checked comp stores arent any GeForce4 Ti4400 and GeForce4 Ti4600 card.. Have them been renamed?

3.IN my question above nr 1, im pointing against most the GeForce4 Ti4800se and the GeForce4 Ti4800 card.

Its much of the GeForce4 Ti4200 card in you articels. But in my country the GeForce4 Ti4800 arnt that much more exp.

Plz help me with these questions.. And tips..

Im a studet too and me articel is pointing against the 9500/9600 as the better grafcard.

Neways, ya... go with the 9500 or 9600 pro.
And uh.. being a student dosnt neccessarily limit you to a specific class of equiptment. Some peoples budgets may be tight, others might not, mostly it has to do with priorities. I can tell you that when im a student ill be spending 2k a year on my comp, so whateva! (almost like i am now)
But ill probly drive a HUNK OF CRAP! AHHA!

1. 9600 PRO is better

2. Ti4800 = Ti4600 with 8x AGP support
Ti4800SE = Ti4400 with 8x AGP support

3. In question #1, the 9600 PRO is still better
