Grafix help!

I just recently re-installed windows me on my computer and everything is fine except the fact that i canget only 16 colors as opposed to the 8 bit(or close) i had before, I have an intel i 740 graphics card and a Quantex xp190 monitor.I reinstalled the drivers for it and still the colors not fixed. i would appreciate any help and any walkthroughs you can offer very much.

Install your motherboard chipset driver first...winME might not have your chipset information.
