I wish to upgrade my mobo, cpu and ram then reinstall my win xp home. I have
what I believe is an OEM version. My original PC supplier is no longer
trading. Will I have trouble reativating windows with this hardware change?

That depends on the type of OEM.
If it was a local shop, most likely it is the generic OEM and you will be
able to upgrade.
Activation would take a 5 minute call to Microsoft.

Major OEMs such as Dell, Gateway, HP etc often tie their BIOS to the
motherboard and Windows XP from them may not install on a motherboard from a
different manufacturer.
