geforce 4600 or ati 9500

Hi,

I'm in the market for a new graphic card, I'm looking for something around $150-$180. The choice right now are ATI radeon 9500 or Geforce 4600. Which one is faster and more suitable for gaming? mostly strategy game like warcraft 3.

def go with the ATI 9500, faster, and supports direct-x 9 (newer games), while the 4600 is better suited for direct-x 8 (older games). You'll be able to play newer games and your card will last you longer if you go with the 9500. hope this helped

I would go for R9500, even if it's non-pro.

In current games, Ti4600 will be faster, but both of these cards are fast enough for DX8 games. In DX9 games, R9500 NP will be better or at least equal. Plus things will look better

Buy the 9500 Pro

A 9500 non-pro is not as good as a Ti4600.

A 9500 PRO is better than a Ti4600.

Knowing this, buy the best card you can afford...
