I have these choices:
Radeon 9800 (Not PRO)128mb regular can get for $110
GF4 Ti 4200 8x 128mb for $110

is the performace of the ATI 9800 regular = or close to that of a ATI 9700 PRO????
by how much "percentage" is it OFF or ABOVE by??
anyone have answer to that?

or is the 9800 regular performs worst than a Ti4200 8x???
i can't find anything on the "regular" card.

PLs reply.. going to order soon..

PS: just in case if anyone wonder if i am right about the "existance" of a NON-PRO ATI 9800 128mb, there is on the DELL.com website as an option for only $110 more.

First off I wasn't even aware that there is a 9800 non-PRO. You might wanna double check that. But if it's true I would venture to say it would perform just under the 9700-PRO but above the 9700 non-PRO. And it would would whip ANY GF4.

I did some research and found that ATi will release a 9800 non-pro but I couldn't find it anywhere (newegg, pricewatch, etc.).

I also found <A HREF="http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=game-gen&message.id=1491" target="_new">this</A> at Dell's website. I don't know what to think of it. It could be bullshit or it could be legit. Anybody else ever seen a 9800 non-pro?

I seriously doubt you can find a 9800 non pro for 110 anywhere, if you can even find one. The only place Ive seen them is newegg for $299
