And the only reason it's worse in D]|[ is because that was an NV chosen demo, basically favouring NV.
As for the overclocking, despite my results, don't feel it's guaranteed. Early samples were roundly Wonderful overclockers (best of entire market IMO) however subsequent samples have turned out to be a mixed bag of Awesome and Good.
The question is whether you are talking about the 9600Pro or Non-pro. Full reviews of the Non-pro are a little rarer, and don't expect the same overclocking out of them as they have lesser memory, and may be made from cores not suitable for the 9600Pro (but I don't know). As the original post was about the 9600Pro, I'll say: I would recommend the 9600Pro over the FX5600series, but I'm not sure about the 9600Non-pro as I have seen very little about it.
