With both of these in play, I can blow up my opponent's lands, right? For
example, if I play it on an Island, all Islands are destroyed. Plus, if a
Disciple of the Vault is in play, my opponent takes 1 loss of life for each
one... right?

***
Mycosynth Lattice {6}
Artifact
Darksteel Rare
- All permanents are artifacts in addition to their other types.
- All cards that aren't in play, spells, and permanents are colorless.
- Players may spend mana as though it were mana of any color.
***
Echoing Ruin {1R}
Sorcery
Darksteel Common
- Destroy target artifact and all other artifacts with the same name as that
artifact.

Yes, Echoing Ruin doesn't care why the target is an artifact, whether it
was printed that way or had the type added by Mycosynth Lattice or
whatever.

Yes, Echoing Ruin also doesn't care why the other artifacts with the
same name are artifacts.

Disciple of the Vault
{B}
Creature -- Human Cleric
1/1
Whenever an artifact is put into a graveyard from play, you may have
target opponent lose 1 life.

If it is your Disciple of the Vault and you so choose, yes.

Your opponent's lands are artifact lands, correct, and one of them will be
a legal target for Echoing Ruin.

>For example, if I play it on an Island, all Islands are destroyed.

Including your Islands, remember. So be careful...

The Disciple will trigger once for each artifact-land put into a graveyard
by the Echoing Ruin effect, including the actual targetted one, correct.

Correct. But note that *your* Islands blow up too--although if you
have the Disciple, it is still your opponent losing the life for them.

Yep, that's just fine, since they are now artifacts, too...

Both Walter Mondale in 1984 and Michael Dukakis in 1988 took the pundits'
move-to-the-right advice. After both were defeated in landslides, the
conventional wisdom was that they hadn't moved to the right far enough.
